Keep the conference announcement dated

This short Lean 2008 notice remains an original event record. It is not a current programme. The related reflections provide the more substantial discussion recovered from that period. Read those questions alongside present conditions and choose one that your team can examine with evidence rather than assuming an event recommendation remains current.

A practical next step

  1. Keep the 2008 event year visible.
  2. Read the related reflections for context.
  3. Choose one local learning question to investigate.

Lean Enterprise Australia are hosting Lean 2008 at the Park Hyatt in Melbourne on the 26th and 27th February. John Shook, one of the first Americans employed by Toyota and the co-author of ‘Learning to See’ will be there providing opening comments and some introductory sessions on Lean product and process development. A few big names from Australian industry will also be there (NAB, Rio Tinto, Qantas…) so it could be an interesting event. I wonder what kind of IT representation will be there? I can guess…
