READING NOTE · UPDATED 2026

Use a presentation as a discussion starter

This original presentation notice remains available as part of the author’s writing. It should not be read as an invitation to an upcoming event. Use the referenced Lean ideas to examine one workflow and record where the transfer from manufacturing to knowledge work needs adaptation. The current field guides provide procedures for that next step.

A practical next step

  1. Identify the presentation’s original context.
  2. Select one idea that relates to your workflow.
  3. Test the idea against a real work item before changing policy.
