READING NOTE · UPDATED 2026
Use community records as context
The original Australian Agile Alliance meeting notice documents the community at the time. It should not be used to plan attendance now. Its useful role is to connect the author’s writing with the discussions and people around it. For current practice, take a specific idea and inspect its relevance with your team.
A practical next step
- Keep the meeting notice in its original period.
- Follow the associated article or presentation.
- Discuss one current delivery question with the affected people.
This 2026 reading note is written by the Durnall editorial team. Richard Durnall’s original text follows below.

Source capture · 2015-11-27 ↗At last years Agile Australia conference, an Australian branch of the Agile Alliance was proposed and created. Local branch meetings of the Agile Alliance Australia (AAA*) have been organised over the next few weeks. If you’d like to attend (all are welcome) you’ll need to register at the respective meetup events for Melbourne and Sydney. I believe events are also being organised on a regular basis in Perth and Brisbane. I’ll post the details as I get them. Hope to see some of you there….
* Not to be confused with AA Australia. That’s something completely different, although you’re likely to see some of the same people at both 😉
